Association of Northern Counties Senior Cup Competition

Holders of the Northern Counties Senior Cup, Westmorland FA, again represented by Milnthorpe Corinthians were drawn away to the East Riding FA, Represented by Pocklington from the Humber Premier League.
Westmorland travelled to East Riding on 29th October and following a goalless first half Westmorland were awarded a penalty almost immediately on the restart and duly converted by Jamie Hastings. A further goal on 71 minutes by Aaron Halliwell consolided their lead to give them a 2-0 win.

In the Semi-finals Westmorland FA will now play the West Fiding FA at their Headquarters on a date to be arranged.

In the other Semi-Final Lancashire FA, Represented by Blackpool Wren Rovers, as last years winners of the Lancashire Amateur Shield, will play the Cheshire FA on Saturday 14th January 2017, at Vauxhall Motors, kick-off 2.00pm.
