Burscough Richmond

The club are delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Stammers to the job of first team manager of Burscough Richmond.
Chris comes in to the job having a wealth of expertise with a UEFA A coaching badge and a FA Academy Managers Licence.
He has been coach at Bamber Bridge, Marine, Clitheroe, AFC Liverpool, Stockport Sports and Burscough FC as well as having time as manager of Burscough FC.
Outgoing Manager and incoming Chairman Chris Clandon said, I was only prepared to stand down for the right person and we feel Chris is undoubtedly that person.
He has fantastic qualifications and his experience at the different clubs he has coached at can only help make our players stronger and better, that’s the hope anyway.
Chris will be assisted in the role by former Richmond and Burscough FC player Michael Clandon whose ties and influence at the club make him an ideal person to make the transition into the club a smooth one for the new manager.
The committee would like to wish Chris and Michael the very best of luck in the roles.
