In the final of the Challenge Cup at Blackpool Wren Rovers Haslingden St Marys secured the Division 2 League and Cup double with a win over their closest rivals and Division 2 Runners Up Ladybride.
A goal in each half for Haslingen, Mike Saunders on 37 minutes and Scott Wylie on 51 minutes, was enough to beat Ladybridge who scored a late goal by Sam Parkinson.
