FA Charter Standard

The West Lancashire League have become the first adult league in Lancashire to achieve the Football Association's Charter Standard.

In 2001 the Football Association set up a Charter Standard for leagues, clubs and teams, who through coaching, administration and development attain a Standard set down by the Football Association.

David Richardson, Deputy President elect of the Lancashire Football Association presented the award to the leagues' Honorary Life President Derek Procter at the Leagues Annual General Meeting.
