Garstang F.C. have been shocked by the resignation of their highly qualified Youth Team Manager Chris Nix who has left to take up a coaching role in the Accrington Stanley F.C. Youth Academy.

“We have been fortunate to have had the services of someone with Chris’s calibre, he has brought a lot to our Club, we can only wish him well in his new position. However we must move on, Alex Spence who has assisted Chris in running the Youth Team for the past twelve months will take charge until a new manager is appointed” said a Club spokesman.
