Garstang Football Club have appointed Neil Crossley as their new Manager following the recent departure of Iain Swan.
Crossley was a former professional with Bury who also played for Accrington Stanley, Morecambe and Lancaster City where became First Team Coach and Assistant Manager.
Neil said, “I’d like to thank the Chairman and the Committee for giving me the opportunity to manage such an ambitious Club. I’m confident that my experience in the game can add to the previous work done by “Swany” (Iain Swan) and that I can help the Club move forward”
Chairman Adrian Wilding said, “The applicants that we received were of a very high calibre so it was a difficult decision but having made that decision we are delighted that Neil has accepted the position.
Mr. Wilding went on to pay tribute to Reserve Team Managers Paul Bailey and Alec Curwen who had done such a good job in “holding the fort” whilst the selection process took place”
