Houston Cup Final

Charnock Richard Reserves beat Euxton Villa 4-2 in the final of the Houston Cup at Blackpool Wren Rovers to complete the Reserve Division 1 and Cup double.

Charnock took an early lead in the 9th minute with a goal by Damon Andrews. Further goals from Lewis Grimshaw on 12 minutes and Ryan Donnellan on 41 minutes gave them a 3-0 advantage at half time.

Dominic McCormick scored for Euxton 5 minutes into the second half but a fourth goal for Charnock scored by Ben Pickup on 53 minutes consolidated the Charnock dominance before Euxton scored again with a goal by Ryan Lilley in the 83rd minute.

The man of the match award went to Lewis Grimshaw.
