Division Two leaders Pause United were 5-2 winners at Euxton Villa Reserves, largely thanks to a ruthless second half display.
Euxton Villa Reserves went into the break 2-1 up with Thomas Henderson and Liam McNally scoring inside 25 minutes, as did Tom Knight for Pause.
Whatever manager Aaron Helliwell said at half time to his Pause United players seemed to work as, seven minutes into the second half, they were 3-2 thanks to Ben Roberts and league top scorer Zac Clark, now on 24 goals for the season.
Roberts added his second and Pause’s fourth on 65 minutes before the highly-experienced Paul Jarvis made it five.

Tempest had five different scorers in the game: Nathan Munson, Josh Firth (2), Leiden McLean (2), Owen Brown and James Dean.
Turton’s goals came at a stage in the game where the result looked almost impossible to be overturned, but Ally Dickson’s strike and a second effort showed their determination to get at least something from the game.
Poulton Reserves also had a strong afternoon in front of goal, winning 6-2 at home to Eagley Reserves.
Haiden Wrathall scored four of their goals, the other two coming from Nathan Feeney and Isac Islamovic.
Wrathall’s first goal and Feeney put Poulton 2-0 up but not before Eagley got themselves back in it before the break.
Rhys Hardie put the visitors back on level terms with that goal on the stroke of half time and a penalty seven minutes after the restart.
It wasn’t until the 76th minute that the goals really started to fly in - Wrathall added three more and Islamovic scored too as Poulton Reserves ran away with it despite the game initially looking like a close-run affair.
