Millom AFC Founder Member Passes Away

It is with great sadness that Millom AFC announce the passing of one of its founder members, Mr Ken Waters.
Ken was instrumental in founding the club in 1963, with the amalgamation of several smaller local sides.For a significant number of years he held various positions of responsibility within the club committee. This culminated in his Election as President of the club for several years. He was also one of Millom's most passionate supporters and was in attendance at nearly every home game for the last 50 years. He was extremely proud of the club and how it had developed from its humble roots. Ken was known to every player at the club and always had kind words and encouragement for all involved.
Millom AFC would like to offer their condolences to his family and friends in this difficult time.
