Ethan Eccleston gave Charnock the lead shortly after the restart but Kendal United’s response was lightning quick, James Thornley making things all square again on 49 minutes before Jason Jones grabbed the winner just three minutes later.

In Reserve Division One, Eagley Reserves inflicted a first home defeat of the season to leaders Blackpool Wren Rovers Reserves as Lucas Bancroft’s penalty gave them a 1-0 win.
Tempest United Reserves were 3-1 victors at Coppull United Reserves - Joel Thorpe, James Dean and Oliver Groocock scored for the visitors, with Scott Hendy finding a late Coppull consolation.
Elsewhere, bottom side Rossendale Reserves secured a potentially crucial 3-2 win at CMB Reserves.
In Reserve Division Two, second placed Carnforth Rangers Reserves won 3-1 at home to third placed Thornton Cleveleys A.
Cole Holt broke the deadlock just after half time before Eric Thompson continued his good goalscoring form and bagged a brace, his goals coming either side of Jordan Beavers’ strike for the visitors.
That result puts even more pressure on leaders Hesketh Bank Reserves who drew 2-2 away to Croston Sports Reserves.
Croston raced into a two-goal lead with half an hour on the clock: Monty Herridge and Ben Davies on the scoresheet.
Jamie Clandon got one back on the stroke of half time before David Yates equalised with 10 minutes of the second 45 played.
Hesketh Bank are now just one point ahead of Carnforth Rangers Reserves, who have three games in hand.
Milnthorpe Corinthians Reserves produced a fine second half display to beat Lytham Town Reserves 3-1.
Ali Ruman scored for Lytham on the half hour mark but Scott Singleton equalised on the hour, with Tom Jackson giving Milnthorpe the lead just five minutes later.
Jackson sealed the win with a converted spot kick on 86 minutes; his side are now up to fourth.
Storeys of Lancaster Reserves and Pause United Reserves played out a goalless draw.
Caton United Reserves are through to the final of the Stewart Rowe Memorial Cup after a 4-1 win in the semi finals.
Edward Harrison and Declan Lightfoot gave Caton a 2-0 lead before Reece Rhodes halved the deficit, but the two-goal cushion was restored before the break thanks to Simon Wareing.
Joseph Jenks sealed Caton’s place in the final with a goal on 57 minutes.
