The West lancashire football League

The league is looking for a person to take on the role of Press Officer who will be part of the league Management Committee.
The role will entail as and when to be able to correspond with the local media on behalf of the league, such as local newspapers and on Saturdays with Bay Radio our main sponsor.
The Press Officer is responsible for gathering the results of the league games and any external Cup Competitions each Saturday and sending these to Bay Radio for transmission during their Sports Program early Saturday.
He will also have the responsibility to see that results from games played at anytime are sent to our Web Site Manager to put out on the Web Site either on Saturday evening or early Sunday plus any mid week games played.
Being part of the Management Committee the Press Officer will be expected to attend the league monthly meeting held at the County Ground Leyland held on the first Tuesday of each month starting at 7-00pm.
