Thornton Cleveleys promoted to North West Counties League

Thornton Cleveleys' application to join the North West Counties has been successful!

The Premier Division champions will line up next season in the North West Counties Division One North alongside former West Lancashire League first teams Euxton Villa and Garstang.

Nelson and Garstang - who both finished in relegation positions in the NWC - were reprieved and will not be joining the West Lancashire League next season.

A decision on all West Lancashire League divisional allocations will be confirmed at the AGM on Thursday June 6.

Thornton Cleveleys Res are likely to be moved to Division Two as a result of the first team's promotion to Step 6.
