Each podcast has a theme and this one was no different – focusing on recovering from bad injuries.

Lee, Millom’s long-term first team goalkeeper, suffered a leg break in August 2023 which left him on crutches for four months and out of action for more than nine months.

Kyle, a defender and captain, has endured a second ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) injury and is back on the sidelines.

We also discussed their seasons so far – Millom are second in Division One and Askam are seventh – their thoughts on regionalisation, best sides they have faced this season, what laws of football they would scrap or change and what the future holds.

Enjoy!
